Red Mountain Resort Set To Unveil New Guest Services Pavilion

Press Release

JULY 19, 2018

Red Mountain Resort is thrilled to announce its newly-constructed Guest Services Pavilion scheduled to open this August. The dramatic expansion of the 3,200 sq. ft. space will provide guests with a communal gathering area with comfortable seating to take-in the awe-inspiring views. The Pavilion marks the first of several renovation projects the resort plans on executing in the coming years. Located in the heart of southern Utah’s red rock country, Red Mountain Resort offers guests an elevated adventure and wellness experience through the continued evolution of the resort’s programming and amenities.

Designed by Butler Design Group out of Phoenix, the new Guest Services Pavilion will greet guests with stunning panoramas of the desert landscape – from black lava fields to the towering red rocks of Snow Canyon State Park. The exterior of the Pavilion will feature a shaded view terrace that runs the length of the building. It then expands out to a gas firepit with surround seating and an observatory area where guests can mark their journey guided by compass detail thoughtfully placed in the stone patio deck. Once inside, guests will find tones of taupe, grey, golds and browns selected to harmoniously complement the outdoor views. Large sectional sofas are placed throughout to create a comfortable environment for guests to enjoy the vistas and discover shared experiences with the resort’s staff and fellow guests.

The grand opening of the Pavilion will be celebrated with the resort’s 20th Anniversary this August. A special Grand Opening guest event featuring a drum circle and refreshments will be hosted on Saturday, September 1 during Labor Day Weekend for guests and team members to celebrate the two incredible milestones. The resort has also released two new adventures, including the Alpine Adventure and Mindful Hike, and plans on unveiling additional programming in the Fall. Perfect for the anniversary, both hikes allow guests to embrace the true spirit of Red Mountain Resort by incorporating thoughtful self-reflection with outdoor adventure.

“We are thrilled with the transformation of our Guest Services area and look forward to sharing it with our guests during the 20th anniversary celebration and grand opening event” states Tracey Welsh, Red Mountain Resort’s General Manager. “We designed the Pavilion with the mission to create a welcoming place for our guests to connect with the resort’s community and share their experiences.”

The Pavilion will also be home to the resort’s bell service and Adventure Concierge, providing guests with a beautiful, central location to access the resort’s world class customer service and expertise. The resort’s Adventure Concierge works alongside the front desk and guest service advocates to create personalized and transformative vacations by making recommendations for activities and spa experiences so that each guest makes the most out of their stay.
