Dinosaur Discovery Days – Lotsa’ Fossil Fun!

200 million years ago, St. George was a large shallow lake with no mountains. Now, it is home to the oldest Jurassic Dinosaur site in Utah, where you will see swimming, running and crouching dinosaur tracks. Enjoy interactive exhibits at this family friendly museum, and afterwards your guide will take you the beautiful Red Hills Desert Garden & Pioneer Park. Available Monday's. Closed on Holidays. From Dinosaurs to the Wild, Wild West

6 hours - $395 for up to 8 family members

Make a full day of it and move on to a real western ghost town. In addition to the activities described above, you will travel a few miles north to Leeds which is home to Silver Reef Museum and Ghost Town, an Anasazi Cultural Site, and a local favorite family hike!  Picnic lunch provided. 6 hour adventure. Available Thursday,  this area is closed on holidays. Contact the Concierge for activity times.

Family Hikes for Everyone – All Abilities

$250 for up to 8 immediate family members

Hike duration: 2 to 3 hours. Hikes can include scrambling to a sandstone peak, slithering through a slot canyon, underground exploration of a lava tube, geo-caching, petroglyph and ancient civilization discovery, and fun play on the red rocks. All hikes are customized to meet your family’s abilities and desires. Unique photo opportunities and lasting memories await.  Available Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7:30AM - 10:30AM.  

Family Rock Climb and Rappel

3 hours - $155 per person

This adventure will teach you all the basics of rappelling and rock climbing, with two rappels and two rock climbs in a safe, fun, and beautiful setting. Challenge your body and mind, overcoming your fears and doubts. Duration, 3 hrs. Location, Green Valley Gap. We will teach rappelling, then offer 2 rappels, along with 2 rock climbs.  

Cougar Cliffs Ultimate Family Rappelling Excursion

3 hours - $175 per person

Enter your courage zone! Scramble your way through the red rock slots, and rappel in a safe, fun, beautiful setting. We will teach you the basics of rappelling, stemming and skootching. Fun for even the most active families. Challenging your body and mind to overcome your fears and doubts and feel the afterglow of accomplishment.

Kokopelli Yoga

‍30 minutes, $100

Kid friendly yoga enriched with the spirit of Kokopelli’s playful nature and sounds of his native flute. Ages 5+.

Copycat Rebounding

‍30 minutes, $100

Using a rebounder (mini trampoline) to copycat the instructor’s bouncy moves to get hearts pump’in and the kiddos jump’in. Ages 5+.

Drums  Alive

‍30 minutes, $100

Using a fitball and drumsticks to improve hand-eye coordination and rhythm / pattern / progression. Amplify the fun with Rock Band drummer solos and parent child signature moves. Ages 5+.

Family Oracle Reading

‍45 Minutes, $150

In our modern times, oracle cards are a resource to access inner guidance, connect to the unseen world, and clarify the path forward. Family readings are a supportive and fun space where everyone receives an individual 3-card oracle card reading and we’ll draw on the intuitive wisdom of the group to reveal additional insights. Suitable for children ages 8+.

Do you find rocks, stones, crystals playing hide & seek in your car, your kids’ pockets, or the far flung corners of your home? Do you have a collection of stones that remind you of your favorite adventures? If so, this class is a wonderful way to explore the innate desire to connect with the earth through stones. Discover the ancient tradition of stone and crystal medicine & learn the basics of connecting to stones in a deeper way. Curious minds welcome! Appropriate for children ages 8+.
