Nearly 300 species of birds have been spotted in our skies, trees, canyons and bushes, and birdwatching is a great mindful, stress-reducing activity.
Join our expert bird nerd and experience the joy of seeking our elusive feathered friends. Acquire basic bird watching skills such as binocular use, locating a bird and the basics of identifying it. Use these skills to discover some of the 100+ species of birds that visit or reside in the beautiful Snow Canyon State Park. Distance walking is limited to approximately one and a half, very slow miles with much stopping and peering into bushes and rock piles! A real delight is seeing where Snow Canyon’s Peregrines nest.
