Guiding is a second career for John C, joining Red Mountain in 2005 after a long career in the dairy industry. His wisdom, gentle spirit, and wealth of knowledge make him one of our empowering guides.
Everyone John meets is an instant friend, and he loves sharing stories with guests from NYC, but the real highlight is his deep knowledge of the history and geology of Southern Utah, gained from his miles and miles of trails experience and passion for the outdoors. When he is not hiking, John enjoys time with his family, going to the gym, volunteer work in the community and Steeler football.
