Rejuvenate & LiVe Well with a Wellness Vacation

5-day, 4-night package starting at $1,900

This wellness vacation package has been designed to combine the expertise of Intermountain Healthcare's LiVe Well Center with the nurturing of Red Mountain Resort; the result is a revitalized you. This 5-day 4-night package will provide you with the comprehensive LiVe Well Assessment Plus; a 3.5-hour visit to the center where you will review your personal history and profile, meet with a physician to evaluate your personal health history and wellness needs, go through state of the art body composition, fitness and metabolic testing, and meet with a nutritionist. You will leave with knowledge, tools and a game plan and exercise prescription for your personal wellness.

You will return to the resort to implement this plan, with 3 healthy meals each day, guided hiking, group fitness classes for all levels, a Meditation Workshop for stress management and 2 private sessions using your exercise prescription with our personal trainers. We will even soothe those tired muscles with a 50-minute Sagestone Customized Massage. After you depart, The LiVe Well Center Team will follow up with 3 customized health coaching sessions via phone or email.

The LiVe Well Assessment Plus

DURATION 3.5 HOURS

1) PROFILE

Prior to arrival, the client will complete a comprehensive questionnaire to provide a baseline so that the LiVe Well Center can help create his or her personal wellness prescription.

2) COMPREHENSIVE LAB DRAW

Based upon the physician’s recommendations, labs will be drawn.

3) BODY COMPOSITION & VITALS

The Bod Pod is the gold standard for measuring body composition. Knowing the proper balance between lean mass and fat mass is essential for losing or managing weight and achieving optimal fitness. Blood pressure, oxygen saturations and resting heart rate will be checked.

4) METABOLIC RATE

Resting metabolic rate screen identifies how many calories a client’s body is burning at rest. This screening reveals the amount of calories needed to lose or maintain weight.

5) WELLNESS PHYSICAL (20-30 MINUTES)

Clients will meet with a physician for a 30-minute evaluation of health history and wellness needs.

6) FUNCTIONAL FITNESS TEST/ VO2

Depending on medical history and goal, these evaluations assess flexibility, muscular strength, and cardiovascular fitness. They also identify fitness improvement areas.

7) NUTRITION

Clients will meet with the Wellness Dietician for 30 minutes. The Dietician will provide nutritional recommendations based on an analysis of the client’s 3-day food log.

8) BASELINE RESULTS

In this private consultation the LiVe Well Center will review and interpret the resultsfrom the five evaluations and tests.

9) GAME PLAN

The game plan outlines a wellness prescription that arms clients with specific steps to significantly improve their health and well-being.

FOLLOW UP

Clients will receive a month of fitness classes at the LiVe Well Center or a portable (e.g. home or gym) exercise program designed specifically for them. Clients will receive 3 30-minute customized health coaching sessions. Sessions are scheduled at client’s convenience and by choice of phone, email or in person.

This 5-day, 4-night package is $1,900 for a Single occupant in our Deluxe accommodations. Guests can share a room with a friend and save $135 off their package.
