BOMA JOHNSON
Outdoor Recreation Guide, Archeologist

Boma has spent the last 30 years following his boyhood dreams of studying Native Americans. Twenty-five of those years he worked as an Archaeologist for the Bureau of Land Management in Yuma, Arizona. His Master’s Degrees in Archaeology and Ethnology makes him the ideal guide in this archaeology-rich environment.
In his spare time, Boma researches rock art throughout the Southwest, specializing in petroglyphs, pictographs and geoglyphs of the ancient Native Americans—a passion he enthusiastically shares with Red Mountain guests.
