A combination of hiking, climbing, scrambling and rappelling. No experience required, only teamwork and a sense of adventure.

Designed primarily for beginners, this adventure will take you through Snow Canyon, the spectacular 7,000-acre state park minutes from the resort. Our guide can also take you to the higher elevations of the park in the summer.

Combine an upper body workout with astonishing scenery on one of our local lakes. Be prepared to get wet. Also available with a guide for hire for those desiring private instruction. We'll bring our paddle boards to add to your adventure during the hot summer months.

2 hours, available seasonally, $99 per person
Connect spirit to spirit with a herd of wild horses to create a willing relationship of peace and harmony. You’ll have the opportunity to engage in a noble leadership activity and a powerful heart-to-heart hug. Proceeds support care and adoption efforts.
3 hours, available seasonally, $159 per person
Those first few steps backwards over the edge of 150-foot Cougar Cliff can be a little unnerving, but, once past that point, rappelling is a thrilling adventure. Safely descend a fixed rope with Zion Rock & Mountain Guide as your expert.

The St. George area is renowned for its variety of rock and styles of climbing. Knowledgeable guides will provide equipment and instruction for all levels of experience. If you’re a seasoned climber, our Adventure Concierge can arrange for a private guide to lead you on multi-pitch climbs.
West Zion Jeep® Tour
6 hours, available year-round, $199 per person
This trip is all about panoramic vistas so bring your camera. We will stop along the way for a short hike to see Native American petroglyphs among hidden springs. Perfect for learning about the geology and natural forces that have created this fantastic landscape.
Our experienced guides can provide a personalized hike, climb, bike ride, trail run, kayak or archaeological adventure. Choose a location near the resort, or a trip to Zion or Bryce. Private guides are available for hire starting at $45 per hour per person.
Lodging reservations must already be in place at the time of booking for Custom Adventures. All trips should be arranged at least 24 hours in advance of the trip. Cancellation of private guiding services must occur before 24 hours of trip departure time or the total cost of the trip will be collected as a cancellation fee. A 15% gratuity will be added to all services. Prices for all Custom Adventures include 6.25% sales tax.

Assumption of Inherent Risk in Outdoor Activities
Guests participating in Outdoor Recreation activities must recognize they include risks integral to those activities. Although it is possible to minimize these risks, they cannot be eliminated without destroying the unique nature of the activity. Guests must agree to comply with all safety rules and instruction of Red Mountain Resort, any of its agents, employees and representatives. Guests must recognize that our activities occur in the wilderness in environments that include canyons, mountain and desert terrain, remote from medical facilities, roads and communication sites. Some of the inherent risks guests may be exposed to include but are not limited to: judgments by self, others or Red Mountain Resort; not following instructions; rough and steep terrain, falling or stumbling, trails with or without maintenance, off-trail travel, fences and barbed wire, loose rock, sand, sharp branches, cactus, vegetation, boulders, exposed ledges and paths, standing or running water, high temperatures, flash floods, rain, snow, lightning, extreme weather changes, winds, wild animals, venomous reptiles, insects, terrain lacking water resources and rock fall. These and other risks and hazards can result in injury, damage, permanent disability, death or loss. By voluntarily signing up to participate in any organized outdoor recreation activity at Red Mountain Resort, guests acknowledge the presence of these and similar risks.
