This is why Red Mountain Resort is created our new Pain Care Retreat, specifically designed to provide those who suffer chronic pain the resources to reduce and often eliminate pain. We’ll help you rediscover the joy of a healthy life.
Red Mountain Resort offers a team approach to helping you be pain free. We consider the whole person, addressing your body, mind and spirit. Our team of wellness professionals will help you develop a healthful lifestyle, one that addresses the role of proper nutrition, optimal posture and structure by addressing connective tissue health and one that encourages attention to those things that are at the root of chronic pain determined by a review of personal health history and lifestyle evaluation. This comprehensive pain management package utilizes proven, evidence based protocols, focusing on not just reduction of pain, but on correcting these root causes of individual pain.
This package is best suited for those who are dealing with chronic pain conditions such as back, hip, neck, knee and shoulder pain.
Each participant will leave with strategies to reduce, modify or eliminate their pain and learn how to live a more active and fulfilling life, one with less pain and more enjoyment.
Each retreat is 4 days 3 nights Sunday - Wednesday and a sample itinerary looks like this:
- Sunday Arrival 5:30PM Dinner
- Monday-Daily Hike (check schedule) or Nordic walking 11am Pain Management Consultation & Review, 11:30pm Biopuncture Treatment, 1:30pm Private MELT, 4:30pm Water Fitness Class
- Tuesday-Daily Hike (check schedule) or Nordic walking, 11am Stretch or Yoga Class, 1:30pm Pain Management Lecture, 2:30pm Acupuncture/Biopuncture Treatment, 3:30pm Drums Alive Class, or Nordic Walking 10:00am Cardio Strength Circuit 11:00AM Stretch or Pilates: 12:00 Closing Lunch with Dr. Brad Crump. Departure.
- Wednesday- Daily Hike, 11am Fitness Class. 12pm Departure
We have these dates set aside for the Pain Care Retreat in 2014: January 5-8; February 9-12; March 23-26;April 13-16; May 11-14; June 1-3; July 13-16; August 17-20; Sept 14-17;October 12-15; November 9-12, 2014.
*Individuals suffering from pain, caused by a life-threatening illness should seek a full evaluation from their physician before committing to this program where a mind, body, spirit approach may result in temporary relief of pain but will not be able to address the cause of the illness or offer curative results.
